My company made the fuel gauging system for the A380. I personally worked on the Cabin Video Monitoring System, which was an option for that huge aircraft.

If you ever fly in an A350, it has a couple of patented sensor systems I developed.

That is interesting. I know SAS has bought some of the 350s.

A very good idea. I´ll do it with my next A380

Oh yeah, and make sure the plane mechanic puts it landing wheels at about 10 degrees negative camber and a license plate " vertical " in the front window and one of those Aluminum hooks on the nose of the plane ....

Partial to the 747 myself; first time I saw one was opening day at DFW Airport. Told Dad then it looked like a flying camel from the hump.

Dad was a DC 9 driver from the shorty up through the Dash 80 (aka the MD-80 now). Little cramped for the passengers but he loved flying it. Said you could land the shorty in a corn field and it handled like a fighter, good rate of climb.

That is cool. Have flown a lot in the DC 9 and the md 80. Both of them was a workhorse for SAS for many years.

I have this photo from 21st of February 1970. The little boy is me holding my father's hand and my mother with the headscarf is behind. Flying was more stylish then. We were going on vacation to canary islands and my father is still wearing a suit and a tie.

I'm not sure what type of aircraft this is. Might be a propeller machine. In one of those trips we got a fire in two of the four engines. Both on the same side. That wasn't so good.

Nice photo, love the shades, snow is bright.

I loved USA, been there 2 times so far. I will finally go on vacation this September. We picked Greece as our destination. In our property in Athens here we will stay for a week, we will visit all local main sightseeing places and after we will go for another week to Crete.

This came up as a memory from last year. So happy we could do it last year. A fantastic tour. I miss traveling to your great country. We have so many good memories from the USA.

Still many places to visit in the States. Will do when traveling is back to normal.
