Absolutely beautiful. I love this. Hope for more pictures as long as the China disease is closing us down.

Re: America the beautiful
In November 2018 the river froze over before mid month, the earliest I've ever seen. It stayed cold, well below normal until mid December. At that time it warmed up and we had a large rain storm, 2-4 inches of rain in less than 24 hours. A couple of nights later we heard a very large explosion, the next morning we learned that the the river had "exploded" and pushed all the ice to the bank and over. Unfortunately, these pics have nothing in them so you can judge the scale of this. These blocks are huge, 10-12 inches thick and up to 150 square feet in area.

Beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
This can be dangerous. Especially if the ice clogs before a bridge or something.

Re: America the beautiful
Joe, that train was carrying our 41st President to his final resting spot at his Presidential Library at the Texas A&M University campus. Once all of the ceremonies were completed, he was flown back to Houston, and put on that train and took his final ride to his memorial grave. Every president decides how they want there funeral to be. And the planning starts immediately when they leave office. And 41 wanted to take his final ride in a train. So they painted up the engine to look like that, and he was a happy riding in a care back behind it that had a big window that you could see in. And I drove out into the country along the train route to see him off.

He was actually riding in a separate train care behind the engine that had big windows so you could see in.

Here are a couple of photos of the train care he was in. It’s the one with the flag on it. There were several passenger train cars behind it that carried his family.
Mr Joe, Texas A&M is where Mr Boots went to University.

That's interesting. The engine painted in the colors of air force one. Thanks for the explanation.GRailsback wrote:Joe, that train was carrying our 41st President to his final resting spot at his Presidential Library at the Texas A&M University campus. Re: America the beautiful
There is a artist that has a studio and gallery up at College Station TX which is where Texas A&M is. He painted this from a photo that someone took, then did a limited addition print run of the painting. I bought this print at a Rodeo fundraising auction. Then took it and had it framed. I have one here and I have one at the Lake house. I was a big fan of this President.
