Memorial Day cooks?

Postby GTR » Fri May 26, 2023 1:01 pm

Any big cooks coming up?
I’ll be hosting the usual 25 Sunday.
Pulled pork
Beef hotdogs
Sausages
Stuffed jalapeños
Potato Salad
Pasta salad
Chips & Queso
Deviled eggs (regular and pickled) first shot using pickled
And most certainly lots of adult beverages!!!

Everyone stay safe and offer thanks for those who gave all that all of us enjoy life, liberty and freedom!

Debbie and I are headed to lake Livingston this evening for some much needed down time.
Tonight is burgers.
tomorrow steak and a tater
Sunday fish fry if the perch cooperate and a low country boil with shrimp, taters, corn and sausage.
Enjoy your weekend everyone and remember those that gave all so that we can enjoy what we have.
Always remember slow and steady wins the race.

Nothin too time consuming.
I made smash burgers Thursday or our son’s birthday.
Tonight was a corn dog wrapped in hamburger wrapped in bacon.
Going to our daughter and SILs tomorrow. He’s making pulled pork.
Monday I think I’m going to slice up some ribs before I throw them on the Weber. It’ll be a first for me.
