Super Bowl Eats; everyone share
It’s been raining in East Texas since daylight today and supposed to continue until after noon tomorrow. Sherry’s going to make a shrimp gumbo with Andouille sausage and chicken; perfect for me

We're going low key with guac/chips, pizza, and cocktail meatballs.

We’ll have the grandkids (made 4 thin crust pizzas tonight)
Tomorrow will be all inside, gonna rain here too. Pigs in a blanket, venison salami, chicken bites, and a cheese dip with sausage recipe my wife found.

What could better fer a cold rainy February day? Like the old Wolf brand chili commercial I put it this way: “Say neighbor, how long’s it been since you had a thick steamin bowl of Hatch red chili and a cold Mexican beer? Well, that’s too long…”

Looks like the lady of the house has requested Ramen. Pork belly braising and stock simmering away. I’ll do a charcuterie board. All washed down with some of Adolf Coors finest.

Found out I’m not a big fan of Ramen. It was ok but I’m not really about Asian food in general. However wife was impressed with it so I’ll take it as a win.

Not one thing in there I’m pretty sure you don’t already eat. Carrot, spinach, green onions, mushrooms, boiled eggs and braised pork belly. All sitting on noodles with broth. Broth is boiling hot and will heat everything. But if ain’t you it ain’t you.
