Ditto here the only thing needed for a good steak is a fork and knife. Hummmmmmmmm I want one now

I've heard of coffee as well as part of marinades, dried expresso for rubs. I've also seen people put cocoa powder in rubs as well.
laura, and I barely like salt on my steak! Just a touch and I'm good to go. Sometimes I will use some wooster sauce while cooking if they are a tougher cut.

leftover coffee in BBQ Sauce!

8) hey Gator, black leftover coffee is one of the main ingredients in my homemade BBq sauce!!! It with some worcestershire, apple cider vinegar & a few more of my secrets, makes one helluva sauce!!!! I despise a sweet sauce, if I want to taste something sweet, I will get a big 'ole bowl of banana pudding after I eat my BBQ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here in KC we like a nice thick, sweet, tomato-y sauce. Little heat is good too!
