Dang the bad luck, I forgot this year all about Lucky's Rod Run, I guess the freeze froze my brain. Were there many people there ??

I almost forgot, congrat's to the graduate and to you.

by the time we got there, Willie, there was probably 60 cars left but we passed many that were headed home on 105 and 6 on our way there - - - - we didn't arrive until 1pm but all was still good, especially seeing some old friends and the jalapeno chez burgers and Shiner Bock at the Chicken Oil  I kinda forgot until last also and didn't contact Luckys kids Linda or lil Bill but someone said he was there earlier - - - that frigid weather and the wild card playoffs had lotz of folks hunkered down - - - thanks for the congrad - - - we are all so very proud of her

The Cruise was started by my Friend, W. L. Lucky , almost 30 years ago. Lucky passed away in 2015 and his memory lives on, yet even tho there's lot of great participation, it just isn't the same without him and his '40 Ford Coupe.

Your boy has a sweet ride Parts. My first car at age 15 was a '67 Coupe which my Dad and I swapped out the 289 for a 302 from a Montego; we did the work ourselves and in those blissful happy days, you could do it all with a common screwdriver, a crescent wrench, and an engine lift (which for us was the auger boom on the back of Dad's Massey Ferguson 135). We ended up having to move that year and sold it to our friends the Shanklins, where it was completely refurbished, converted from sky blue to red, and was passed around all the brothers; for all I know, the family may still own it.

You never get over owning a Mustang (a cowboy's gotta have a horse, right?). That's why I am over 120K on my Kona Blue 2010 GT (which still wails like brand new), after trading in my '06 GT. Have to pry it from my cold dead hands, BUT...sat in a new Shelby GT350 at Sam Pack's the other day - felt my palms sweating and my right foot itching... HoooooBubba.

By the way, they had a 2007 fully Roushed personally autographed model on the floor there, supercharged with 427 flying fillies. Only 7700 miles, and I am here to testify it is PERFECT. Much cheaper than the new models at $29K too. Worth at least looking at the eye candy. From Sam's personal collection. Not shilling for the owner, just appreciate it for the beauty it is. http://www.sampack.com/inventory/used-v ... rollton-TX

yummy yummy and I'm not talking food - - - - great stuff Boots, some how I suspected that you just might be an "'ol wrench spinner", unfortunately my greaser daze are over but I can still think back and smile - - - I certainly understand the sweating and itching caused by vintage IRON (not fiberglass) 8) :salut:

It was the wife's birthday last week, so we snuck away Saturday. The old man still has some tricks up his sleeve....

Booked the same room that we stayed in on our wedding night. PS, that's Pent House, as in the floor, not the magazine.

Then I took her to the symphony.

We had dinner at a downtown joint called "Hearsay" (fitting, right?). I had the lamb and it was outstanding. If you're in the area, it's worth a shot.

Anyway, this is what we look like now. A little older, and a little rounder.
