Weather

Postby nascarchuck » Thu Mar 29, 2007 5:32 pm

Man, we are getting some really good rain along with some fairly heavy thonder storms.

I live in a small community and have a police scanner. They just dispatched the FD saying that there was some kids stuck in a draingage ditch or something.

Thats been awhile, so it sounds like everything is ok with that situation...

I hear ya... The last 2 or 3 years, we have been under watering restrictions.

I live less than 2 miles from a lake and the last 2 or 3 years, it has darn near dried up. The marina has been sitting on dirt.

We had 1" of snow the day before yesterday, followed yesterday by 1 1/2" of rain, so today was sunny and bright!

For the latest weather in Utah, it is sunny and bright, if you would like different weather, please call back in 10 minutes!

Dallas / Rockwall County is getting hit with some boomers right now.

I'll be irritated* if the power goes out. I'm working and that really screws up the equipment. :angry5: :banghead:

I hear ya Rob... When we take a power hit here at work, it knocks out a bunch of equipment and we have to go to everything and reset it all.

If the presses are running, they usually lose the webs (paper) going throught the presses and those guys get really mad when they have to relead all of the paper!

We just took a big power hit about 15 or 20 minutes ago, but the presses aren't running yet. We will be starting up in about 10 more minutes, so if the storms are still playing with the power here, it could be a fun night...
