Ugliest Breakfast Contest

Postby OldUsedParts » Fri Jul 21, 2017 7:27 am

I have ?tried? to make Mashed Tater Pancakes several times and, even tho they taste great, they always look like recycled hay patties when I plate them. Very seldom do I even fix mashed taters so leftovers are rare around here unless it's a baked Tater - - - I just prefer Rice over Taters as "MY" side dish :!: :dont:

These were fried in bacon grease and saved from an early garbage trip by SuckleBusters Jalapeno Pepper Jelly and of course it never hurts to add bacon to any dish ?agreed?

OH, YES I actually ate these for Breakfast this morning. :whiteflag:

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.  Try a blindfold? :dont: :dont: I'm sure the flavor was there, but you may want to save those pics for PM's with people you know can handle them. Kinda like the accidents on the highway, you know you shouldn't look, but you have to.

Oup, down here I think??? We call something like that bubble n squeak. An English thing, fried up leftover roast veges mashed and friend in bacon fat. My wife loves it occasionally. But it's 9.30 am here on sat morning, this is what I make for the wife EVERY sat for brekky/ brunch. Scrambled eggs plus bacon and a cup of hot chocolate.
