Newby from Innisfil Canada

Postby snakestar » Tue Jan 17, 2017 7:31 am

Hi all
I've been smoking foods fairly successfuly on a gas grill for a while and have decided to jump in with both feet. This evening I will be picking up my brand new GMG Pellet smoker Daniel Boone WIFI model. I'm looking forward to reading and learning from you all. I came across this sight just googling through the Web. Looks quite interesting and serious about Qing... hopefully at some point I'll be good enough to offer advice to other newbies.

My name is Scott but my friends call me Snake, so Snake it is to all of you...
Let me thank all of you in advance for helping me advance in the world of BBQ.

Howdy Neighbor. Pass the Labatt's, with a Carling's chaser!
BE WELL, BUT NOT DONE
Hank: "Do you know how to jumpstart a man's heart with a downed power line?"
Bobby: "No."
Hank: "Well, there's really no wrong way to do it."

Welcome to the Madness Snake, there are a lot of good guys on here to help you with that pellet grill.
The few times I was in Calgary I was partial to KOKANEE beer, cant find it down here in Texas. Drink a couple for me on your next que,

Welcome to the dark side Snake
Around here Papa Tom is the pellet guru. Cant go wrong with his advise.

Hey TGsBBQ. Yep Kokanee is good brew. I live just across the border from the great "Land Of Hockey". Kokanee is available here. Used to be my go to beer. Had to give it up as I got older....the missus says it gave me gas
I am now a "light" beer drinker :( Altho I have been known to sneak a Kokanee now and then when she aint around
