Georgia by way of NJ

Postby moon588 » Tue Mar 14, 2017 1:32 pm

Hi just signed up. Picked up a Old Country Wrangler after seeing Franklin drill a thermometer in it on his show. Went to academy the next day and saw it on clearance for $435, it was the last original wrangler with the thicker steel, they had a bunch of Wrangler 2's but took the display model Wrangler for an additional 10% off for a total of $390. Total impulse buy, being that it is discontinued I had to jump on it. I have learned with alot of things that the quality of things diminishes so rapidly now that you have to pull the trigger or else you'll be kicking yourself later.

Looking forward to playing around with it!

Big Welcome, I have one of the Oklahoma Joes which are basically the same pit. I too have the earlier version with the thicker metal. Good pits for the money. May the Smoke gods bless your pit with clear blue smoke!
How bout some more beans Mr.Taggert? I'd say you've had enough!
