Russ, I guess you could say that. I'm thinking he'll Will follow the tradition of all my brothers and I and be into southern rock and classic rock. I myself follow all genres, mostly all lol.
I love the Ramones, the Kinks, bands like that. But my heart has always been with 3 of my favorite bands, in this order...

But I also can go from Johnny Cash to Metallica faster than a White Castle fart lol !

George Strait, George Jones,and Clint Black often come thru my Bluetooth, so the little guy Will have a lot to listen to. As for CDB, Evan Will definitely know ( Simple Man )....Not to be confused with Skynyrds ( Simple Man ) which is a favorite of mine as well !
( However !!!!...

It's maybe once in a lifetime that a group ( remakes ) a song and tops the original classic, but I MUST admit that Shinedown ABSOLUTELY NAILED Skynyrds ( Simple Man ) IMHO..

Hey there Russ, thank you for the Bd wishes for the little guy.
Umm, I'm close to the half dollar birthday, the wifey not far behind.
We've had struggles for a long time and gave up multiple times, but the big man above blessed us in the end with a miracle baby.

Now THAT is what I call a great story and a nod to positive thinking and a little help from the Big Man, congrats to you and your bride. Does the heart good to hear good people rewarded after patience and hope.

Now just remember all that patience when Junior paints his Rembrandt on the wall of yer house or shaves the dog, or like a little boy I saw at a yard party, suddenly drops trou right in the middle at the height of the festivities and does, well, what comes natural. His dad, a poindexter SMU prof, shakes his head, turns to me and says, "I'm so proud the fruit of my loins turned out just like my father in law instead of me".
