Newbie and Weekend Warrior

Hello Ladies and Gents,
New to the forum, I'm a weekend warrior and love to cook... I'm from the Anahuac area which some of you may know and some may be scratching there head as to where that is. Looking forward to learning a lot and asking some boneheaded questions!

Caught some nice Reds and a few Trout in the Wildlife Refuge - - - even wade fished with a 4 to 6 foot Gator - - - nothing to it just keep one eye on the tight line and one eye on the Gator. Better watch out for the mud bogs too.
The back water sloughs are where to get some great Gator pics and some you can do from the truck while driving around the top of the levee. Been a long time since I've been but hopefully it hasn't changed much. We also used to put the boat in Trinity Bay at Anahuac and then go drift and wade fishing.

Welcome aboard. And don't worry about those bonehead questions. We are all a bunch of boneheads anyway so we should speak the same language
