Greetings, all!
I'm a grilling and smoking fanatic and can't get enough of it. As you see, I'm not from Texas, but Texas style BBQ is something I definitely want to learn. I'm into cooking all sorts of stuff and I'm always looking to up my game.
I have an Assassin 24 gravity feed smoker, a XL BGE, and a Weber kettle.
Happy to be here and looking forward to learning a lot!

Thanks, folks! Here's a pic of my little slice of Heaven. My wife had the banner made for me as a present.

From the looks of that slice of heaven, if I didn't know that was in Joisie, it could certainly be a Texas Man Cave

OUP,
Thanks!
I'm in south Jersey and it may as well be a separate state......all farms and woods, not the intro from "The Sopranos". The southern end of the state is covered with the "Pine Barrens".......tons of acres of protected woods, and that's where I live.
Jersey rednecks are known as "Pineys" and I live amongst them proudly.

Re: Greetings From South Jersey!
From one Jersey guy to another, Welcome !!
Know ur area well, Pine Barrens on 2 wheels, Cape May and the Old Brigantine Castle always bring back good memories for me.
Been over the Delaware for 10 years now, but still go to Vineland weekly for work.
I've been telling a few of these great Texas boys that if you want to hit the best Diners, Bagle Shops and Awesome Pizza, visit Jersey.
Thier Tomatoes are pretty stellar as well :):)

That's a north Jersey, New York take......don't see it around here. We have a Philly accent.
We do have attitude:
"You from Jersey?"
"Yeah....you gotta problem with that?"
Arriving home at the airport after a week or two away:
"Rude people, terrible traffic, body counts on the news...........It's GOOD to be home!
I jest........
We're actually not THAT bad here in NJ.
