Howdy Brothers & Sisters of the Smoke

Postby Goober Pike » Wed Aug 08, 2018 4:24 pm

New to the forum but not to BBQ. Hometown, Rockport Texas home of the Big Blow of 2017. Looking forward to participating in the forum and seeking help on a much needed bbq cookoff fundraiser for two local non-profits, A.I.M. Hospice and Rockport Volunteer Fire Department. Hope this is not considered marketing by the sheriff, just need advice on setting up a cookoff. Thanks in advance for any advice!

Not at all, Sir, you are more than welcome to post times, dates and details of a BBQ Cook Off, especially those for Good Causes. So if there's a link to the Event then please post that also. Sure hope Y'all fared ol Harv's moisture and bad breathe with not too much damage or loss. I don't think I have ever seen such Generosity and Help from Neighbors and even Surrounding Neighbors that weren't affected. :salut:  :texas:

If you'll post your Cook Off info and questions in this thread you'll probably get more attention from serious Members.

I think 3 Star Redneck (aka Redneck Cooker) may also be an operative within one of the sanctioning bodies.

Bobby: "No."
