Hello bbq boys and gals!!!!
Hello yall. Im from little town called Alvarado ,Texas . its about 25 miles from ft worth 35 from dallas...small town good food and good people. Im 29 yrs old and gettn older and older .lord please slow it down!!! On a good note ,im making a brisket a rather different way. Where can i post my journey at ...its a packer brisket 19.5 lbs ...yes big boy!!! Using a homemade smoker with no fire box and hand shoveling coals in and out every 35-45 mins adding new coals...were can i post for some veteren help???

Used to have a spot called smoking triggers bbq. ,but i think finacial barriers caused the place to go under..im not not sure...thanks for the invite..im posting on a forum i was told to post at by somebody above u ..here it is viewforum.php?f=2 ...check it out ! Its not posted yet waiting on admin....

Thanks brother! Heres a pic of it..my brother took my pull behind smoker .so i had to use this old girl.i made her back in 09 and she is direct heat type of charcoal/smoke grill. Qtr inch steel welded up nice and still holding strong...just no firebox and not a ideal pit needed for smoking a big 19 lb brisket !

Heres my charcoal bbq pit/smoker.. I have never smoker anything this big as a 1o.5 brisket but she did good and stayed hot all night long

Here she is ..built her by hand and fabbed her with qtr inch steel and some angle iron and sheet metal as legs...made her in 09.

Here is my coal reserve..i had to restoke and keep adding fuel in the reserve..every 2 hrs i had to add new coals..this was by far the most time consuming brisket i ever smoked.
