Hi!
I am from parts all over but currently reside on the north side of Houston. I used to run a kitchen in a former life, now I'm a maintenance mechanic. But BBQ has always been my passion. I'm hoping to build my own mobile rig and join in on a few que competitions in the next year or two. So I thought it would be a good idea to find a way to meet the Texas bbq family and get immersed in the community. My current cookin kit is pretty mickey mouse, consisting of a 6 burner stainleas charbroil gas grill, a cheap cabinet style stand up smoker from academy, and a wok stand burner. But it doesn't matter, I used to do some of my best smoking on one I made out of a big trash can.

Thank's for the warm welcome! I'm taking a trip to North LA in a couple weeks to pick up a basically free 5x8 trailer from a buddy. Trying to scrape everything together one piece at a time over the next year, then it's build on! Lol.
