Hello from Burleson. Texas, of course.

Postby CowtownRancher » Tue Jan 01, 2019 1:13 pm

Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself to the forum. I raise cattle and am in the process of building a herd of low input, highly fleshed cattle through DNA tested grass fed genetics. It has been slow going, but finally had my first 2 steers processed and I could not be happier with the results. Anyway, the hamburger & steaks are incredible, but I came here to learn more about smoking the briskets for family get togethers, etc.
Raising 100% grass fed & finished organic free range black angus.

Welcome to the madness :taz:
I’m jealous about the ability you have to walk out back and just pick a brisket out of the field  ;)
