Hello from the UK!

Postby Englishdave » Wed Jan 02, 2019 4:55 pm

Hey guys! My names Dave, I live in Northan England in a small city called Preston. I'm 30 and I absolutely LOVE barbecue!

I run a little smokehouse catering company here in the UK and I'm just here to chat and learn from you guys and see what you're all cooking!

I'm also hoping to come across to Texas later in the year for a barbecue pilgrimage!

Nice to meet you all!

Dave

Cheers for the warm welcome!

I need to start taking more pics as I'm normally starving by the time the food comes off the smoker! I let it rest then just devour it without taking pics!

Here's one of the Turkey I smoked for Christmas dinner! I coated her in magic dust and had her on for around 7 1/2 hours at 250 just using oak wood with a bit if charcoal. She tasted amazing.

Welcome Dave.

Drove by your place last year on our way from Manchester to the Lake District. Hung out there a couple days then on to the north to do a little touring and visit friends in Nairn. Lived in Nairn from 82 to 87.

Excellent Q here and outstanding people.
