New from No Texas

Postby bowhnter » Mon Mar 26, 2007 1:50 pm

Hi, thought I would stop in over here. I live in Frisco, TX and have been que'n for about a year now. Was hooked from the start.
I don't compete, but am thinking of going to Irving this Saturday to meet some of the people from the forums.

Hi Mike..glad you made it over. Back afore we gave up on the hobby we cooked at Irving quite a few times. Always had a lot of fun. Weather usually purty unsettled this time of year. Betta bring some rain gear. We survived a few typhoons out there in years gone by.

Welcome bowhntr... Glad that you could join us...

Hey, I own the Yahoo group that you joined recently and you told me there about the cookoff awhile back.

I have the address, but do you know the times? When would be a good time to pop in and just see what is happening and when would this thing wrap up?
Chuck

Hey Chuck. It is this weekend in Irving. I don't know any specific times of turnins and awards, but I can only go Sat morning anyway. Hope to meet some people there.
