i took the whole family here last jan. i grew up in odessa but never ate here .first of all when you drive up it just looks like a old time bbq shack all meat is mesquite smoked ,i got the three meat plate brisquet,ribs and sausage all was well smoked, moist,there sides were fresh and great if you get a chance to this one you wont be disappointed.

Might make it that way this summer, I grew up in Pecos and havent been through there in about 12 years. My dad used to take us to the drag races in Odessa, lots of good times and memories from the old west.

Been a long time since I've eaten there, just not a fan of mesquite smoked BBQ...gives me terrible heartburn. I grew up in Odessa as well...not much for BBQ out there, but there sure is some good Mexican food.

yep are you takling about penwell i remember going there there is alot of great places to eat i heard there is a taco villa opening in rockwall im not crazy about there food but alot of people are. good to see some fellow west texans here.

I don't know about Rockwall but there is one opening in Benbrook in April.
