Fred's Pit BBQ, Irving TX

Postby Ox190 » Sun May 19, 2013 5:22 am

Pit must stand for oven. Had some very nasty Q there today. My dad was in Irving and wanted to meet up to eat some Q so I found Fred's online and figured we'd give it a try. We got a pound of ribs and pound of brisket. Zero smoke or seasoning. Tried to cover it up by putting some sauce on it....nasty sauce. Oh and you want bread with your meal, that'll be .40 a slice. Mac and cheese was good, so was a the sweet tea. The rest I'd barely feed a dog. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else.

Thanks for the review, Its a shame that .40 cents for a slice of light bread could cost them additional business.

That place used to be really good. I heard it got new owners a few years ago. No BBQ experience. Sad....
