Storm's Lampasas / Ray's Lufkin

My 2 favorites for a good old fashioned burger. have any of you had the pleasure of visiting either of these places?

I eat lunch at Storms 2-3 times a week. it's like Whataburger on streoids. :fart:
Never met a cow I didn't like with a little salt and pepper.

We're heading to the Deer Lease next Tuesday and I will be eating at Storms on the way.
Ray's is very similar. carhops and patties are made fresh daily from Massengil Meat market

Haven't been to Storms in Lampasas since 1994. Used to have a deer lease down there and always stopped by for the "Storms Special"! Triple cheese burger with fries and drink. The patties were real thin and the edges got crispy. Lawdy dem burgers were absolute greatness. I don't know about now but 20 years ago they were wundabar!!!!

Still the same and Ray's in Lufkin is like that. Their specialty is the "Ray's Special"
