If ever in the Marion, IL area and looking for a que joint, head to 17th Street owned by Mike "The Legend" Mills. Stay away from KB. THey call it fresh off the pit goodness BUT when I went there the ribs I got were grey like they were .... SIGH ...... steamed and there was some black stuff on my plate I thought was like liquid smoke. YUCK!
I lived here for 2 years and never went there and the wife decided it was time to try it after reading great reviews. Not sure if the reviewers actually know what que is all about after I tried that mess. Horrible. Friendly staff and pretty clean shop though.
