Purdy good Q. Fatty brisket is great, sausage is good. lean brisket is better than average. Ribs are tender but need more seasoning IMHO. Overall better than most.

Yeah, I'm loving that they're hitting on some consistent quality. That in itself will set them apart from most places, who have about a good hour to two per day, and week to week it can fluctuate. Theirs is hanging in there. It's nice to have a really good BBQ place local where I can take my business. Still haven't had those darned beef ribs...lol.

Exactly what I was thinking. If they have the quality that's being cranked out in McKinney then 3 Stacks is in trouble.

They told me where it was going to be and I was sworn to secrecy. Sorry, I wish I could tell everyone, but they said they haven't told anyone, even Daniel Vaugh with Texas Monthly doesn't know and he keeps asking them.

With there no longer being a 3 meat plate on the menu I was forced to go w/ the all you can eat this evening. I can vouch for the greatness of the brisket, ribs, jalapeño sausage, pulled pork, turkey (first time it was awesome) and banana pudding. Oh yea beans & fried okra too. I'm stuffed.

Another great meal. The cashier said the new one is in Frisco I have little doubt it will be Randy Whites.

I went to Argyle this weekend to visit family and we decided to go to Hutchins in McKinney. I had brisket, pork ribs and sausage. The ribs and sausage were good and the brisket was excellent. My 2 year old grandson liked the ham and brisket. For dessert we had peach cobbler and banana pudding. Not sure what they put in the banana pudding but it was awesome, we all had seconds on that.

Did y'all see that Texas Monthly article on BBQ joints? They visited 658 places, and listed the top 50. Hutchins came in 35, ~ the top 5%. Nice review for them!
