For serious backyard BBQ fanatics, you will know the name Buzzie Hughes. He is as nice in person as he is on TV or in competitions. My test of a good BBQ restaurant is whether the brisket flat is moist and flavorful, and whether the loin back (baby back) ribs are juicy. Buzzie hit them out of the park. The chicken was good, and the sausage was good but nothing special. The beans and potato salad sides were tasty. I rarely eat BBQ when I go out, but we had friends visiting from Sweden and we took them on a tour of hill country, San Antonio, and Corpus. I'd go back to Buzzie's for sure.
