This place is right outside Lubbock in Wolfforth. Food truck with a air conditioned warehouse space for dining. I'm about to make a bold statement, but this place is better than Franklin. Oak wood smoked (sometimes he throws in Apple) with basic salt and pepper rubbed brisket. Perfect amount of smoke and not too much pepper, just great meat and seasoned to enhance it. This place is destination bbq. I got the brisket, sausage (green chile), pork ribs, pulled pork and turkey. If the ribs were a little better this would be my #1 overall favorite place (LaBarbecue is my favorite) to eat bbq.

Re: Evie Mae's BBQ
I'd eat there for sure - - - good old Lubbock where the blue sky can turn brown during planing season and even taping the windows shut won't keep the dust out.
