Kick'n Ash BBQ - Montgomery Tx

Postby OldUsedParts » Wed Oct 21, 2015 4:50 pm

This place is located just West of downtown Montgomery Texas on Hwy 105. We ate lunch there today and they had the most tender and almost best tasting Pork Ribs that I've eaten in a long time. As a matter of fact, they were so tender I asked if "Sooner" was working outside on the pit :laughing7:  but the meat did stay on the bone if you handled them gently, otherwise it was fork on the plate time. The cole slaw was just like I like it and we got the Spicy Beans which were good but I'll get regular beans the next time. The bean spice interfered with the "Q" taste a little bit for me.

But all in all, I give them two thumbs up   today and we will be going back soon.

Today could possibly be the most Gorgeous Day since last Spring and the Wiffy's feeling puny. So we decided to order out, which means I go get something and bring it back. Didn't really know what we wanted until we saw KAM and Sooner's recent cook pics and it was off the "Kickin Ash" for some to go grub.

The owner wasn't there so I ;) at the waitress and got in without the Wiffy. :laughing7: Ribs, Cole Slaw and Beans were all fantastic :wav:
