:coolnana: Pick three dates and throw them out there and get a count of how many could attend on such and such date. Go with the most popular date - you will NEVER be able to accommodate everybody. Then, contact Hutchins to see about reserving a room or area based on how much space we'd need. I'd love to meet up with a lot of you I have never had the chance to. :texas:

I'm probably good either day Unless it's between Jan 15-18. I'll be in Fredericksburg that weekend.

Typically either are fine. I'd try to set the date sometime in late Jan or Feb to give folks some time to add it to calendars. I know mine gets booked fast. Lol :dont:

Just had a 3rd trip to Hutchins and have a bit of a dog. As I read the menu you are informed that prices are quoted by the 1/2 pound but that they will break it up in 1/4 pound increments. There is also the option for $25 all you can eat.

My friend has suggested Hutchins and is ordering the Catfish for religious purposes. I order brisket & ribs and my buddy tacks a sausage order on top of mine. No problem, I figured he might bend the rules a bit. Perhaps that’s why I was invited??

So my order is getting tallied up at the register and has sailed well passed $25 and I am a tad embarrassed as he is picking up the tab. I then take a look at the printed stickers and notice that they have gone well over their 1/2 pound portions on both ribs and brisket and the cutter never gave me any indication or acknowledgement of this action. I apologized to my pal.

I would have been much better off with the $25 all you can eat but am curious as to how that works during a busy lunch? Serious question, how does one reload during your meal?

Wow, interesting auto edit in my first sentence but ok.
The Quality of the BBQ was at Hutchins usual high bar which made everything bearable. I would skip the catfish.
