Barbecue International

Thought you fellas might find some interest in how they do it internationally. Stumbled across some of this online, thought it looked like an interesting topic. Gator, might be time to take it international; these people are desperate for the real stuff.

Of course, for us the concept of "International Barbecue" pretty much means anything outside of Texas - the Eden and Nirvana of Barbecue - but for grins I thought I would post how Europeans do it. After all, Texas barbecue does owe much to the legacy of German, Czech, Pole, and other ethnic expats of long ago, particularly on the sausage scene. Some of you may wander off the North American landmass from time to time (I hope to someday); if so, send me a postcard. Might want to steer clear of the Kabul Kabab though, when in Poland - looks like it might have been airlifted right out of AFG. And be sure to check out the Ferraboli website, wherein they proclaim themselves to be a famous "Italian Barbacue Protaganist".

Now the French just don't appear to be hacking it, based on the pictures from their national championship. But they do know how to advertise...
