Tender Smokehouse

Postby bsooner75 » Sat Dec 05, 2020 7:42 pm

Hit up Tender in Celina today. When they first opened we ate there and it was ok. I remember telling the wife we should come back and try a sandwich. Well we did just that today and it was a really good sandwich. Not very often at BBQ joints I can spend $11 and be full.

The El Jefe - yes it has a rib on top because, why not!

The wife had the frito pie - it has Mac and cheese in it because, why the heck not!

Kiddo got a couple ribs and Mac and cheese.

Went there twice when the Daughter and SIL lived in Pilot Point. Saturday’s they have Wagyu Beef Ribs; they’re really good. The owner is real nice; I walked around to the Cookers and he invited me in for a tour; he’ll of a set up

What was the beer, it looks good. But then they always do when you can’t have one.

Nine Band Hefeweizen

It was ok - owner has been in the news lately for some not so great things. I imagine there won’t be many more kegs of this brew on the market.

Well I hope it doesn’t give you a rash. But that’s unfortunate to hear about a brewery. I had some micros when I was in quarantine in Mobile. Look up a beer called Naked Pig. Good stuff, it’s a pale ale. Alabama beer.

I'm soon having breakfast and that sandwich is exactly a proper breakfast. Looks awesome and tasty.
