I am wanting to smoke some chicken legs this weekend and was wondering about making a marinade from some BBQ sauce?
will this work and if so how do I make it? I normally just use rubs on my meats.

I"m sure that a BBQ sauce would work but I tend to like the Butter Injections best.
"Tony Chachere's Injectables Butter" is my favorite
THis is what I bought the last time and I'll probably use it on an Entire Bird

Thanks, I may have to go look up my injector and see if I can find some that stuff.

Pretty much any major grocery chain will have it.

You might even try buttermilk, Pat dry, and apply your favorite seasoning
