Sorry guys it was the Rudys clone:

Copycat Rudys BBQ sauce (original, before it changed)

1 8 oz can tomato sauce
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 1/2 TB spoons of vinegar (white)
2 TB spoons worchestershire sauce
1/4 cup Lemon juice (2 lemons)
1 ts garlic powder
1 ts course black pepper
1/4 ts comino
1/8 ts cayenne pepper

Mix all and brink to a low simmer for a few minutes. Cool and serve

It actually was watery with little to no flavor.

Tried to make a couple of "clone" recipes myself and was not happy with the results either.
Looking at the recipe I think you could add more flavor by increasing the garlic to a tbs, changing the lemon juice and vinegar to apple cider vinegar and cutting the tomato sauce to 4oz.
You also might try minced garlic rather than garlic powder.
Good luck.

I also have made a few batches of that recipe i added a lil mustard and more pepper i even added some montreal steak seasoning it came out pretty good. I dont think its close to rudys but it was ok.
