Speaking of steak sauce...

Well, how about it? Do you use steak sauce?

As for me, I only use steak sauce if the steak is horrible and needs something to make it edible.

If you do use sauce, what kind do you use?

I only use sauce in 2 cases:

1. The steak has no flavor, or a horrible flavor, and the sauce is to make it edible.
2. In *very* rare cases, it's to taste the sauce, either it's homemade or a "You *gotta* try this" kinda thing. Usually that's a couple bites and done.

Other than that, I like steak that tastes like *steak*.

Sometimes a lil dollop on the side on cheap or tough steaks....just to dip a couple pieces in.

I never put sauce directly on a steak. I will put a tablespoon of a good sauce on the side and dunk every 4th or 5th bite.

I will, however, use horseradish and au jous with prime rib.
