I agree they do have good rubs, and I have no problem using them around the house or for backyard grilling... But when it comes to comps I almost refuse to use things that can be found at local grocery stores. Maybe it's just a mental thing, but I have a tendency to think if I wanna win I have to be unique and dont want anything that can be recognized laying on a random shelf, and I dont wanna use what any Joe Blow uses as well. Atleast thats how I justify my thoughts anyways... :wink:

Fiesta Brisket rub is great. I just coat with mustard then Fiesta brisket rub, into a plastic bag and let it rest overnight in the refrigerator. It adds a perfect flavor to the meat.
