Sweet & Spicy
Hey all, anyone know of a sweet and spicy sauce for glazing some ribs? I used Sweet Baby Rays this weekend, was really good, but noticed it had High Fructose Corn Syrup in it. Trying to find a more natural one. Any suggestions?

Buy your sauce from the Gator SuckleBusters uses Sugar! Most all commercial MFG use it because it is cheap on the production budget the only way I know to get away from it is to stop using a commercial sauce. Or you can roll your own or fall in love with Dry Bones.
Never met a cow I didn't like with a little salt and pepper.

Yeah, I have been making my own sauce, which I love, but was looking for a change of pace. Thanks for the info Bludawg. Will check out the Sucklebusters as I am out of HogWaller anyway. Thanks.

Many folks mix different sauces together to get the combination they are looking for. Or if you have a sweet sauce you like, simply add some heat to it with crushed red pepper, jalapeno salt, etc.

SB Hot N Spicy or Chipotle.
FYI, the Chipotle has STRONG Chipotle flavors.

I personally love the Chipotle, but some people around me can't deal with that much heat. So, I cut theirs with the plain Sucklebusters sauce. Got to keep everyone happy, happy, happy.

Re: Sweet & Spicy
Here you go....1. get a large bottle of store bought...like K.C. Masterpiece, Sugar Rays ect
combine...2 tablespoons chili spice, ...1 large bottle of "try Me" brand Tiger Sauce,....1 package of onion soup mix.....2 cups packed brown sugar....1 tsp Cayenne pepper.....put in a saucepan and SLOWLY bring to a boil....IMMEDIATELY REMOVE FROM HEAT....You may dab it on whatever you are smoking hot...or allow to cool.
WARNING!!!...DO NOT get this stuff on your fingers and attempt to lick it off....YOU WILL end up knawing off your fingers to the wrist because you'll be afraid that you might have missed some!!! THIS STUFF IS TASTEY!!

Re: Sweet & Spicy
i dunno- KC Masterpiece and Sweet Baby Rays are
already sweet enough to frost a cake with or pour over ice cream-
This recipe made me want some insulin.
