Mint sauce I just made....

Postby Kiwiruss » Mon Mar 13, 2017 10:03 pm

Just made another 2 litres of mint sauce, mint from wife's garden. Got 7 bottles of this gold that accompanies the lamb we eat. Although I must confess I use it on chicken and beef as well. I love this stuff. I'm guessing you can buy mint sauce over your way??? But I'm only guessing.

I make 2 litres at a time. It's so easy
1 litre malt vinegar
1 litre water
1 cup of sugar
About 2 fistfuls of mint, boil liquids with water , put chopped mint in boil 5 minutes and bottle. I use 335ml bottles. Makes 7 of these. I'll make another batch to last me to this summer.
