Curried onions I'm making

Postby Kiwiruss » Mon Mar 27, 2017 10:21 pm

Now I know you will go ooh, how can that be any good. I normally do about 20kg every year for my and family n friends . These go great with a nice masdaam cheese or others as well, served as a snack when we have people over. They don't give you gas , they are just plain curry flavoured onions. Also they are so sweet. Pics to follow.im just doing a 10kg batch as I still have some from last year.

Prolly would, folks I give them too keep the juice n marinade their steaks in the stuff, but they are so sweet with cheese crackers relish n gherkins. Once you've tried you won't believe them. I've had dozens ask for the recipe but only my daughter knows it. My nana passed it to me, I've refined it a bit. Lotsa turmeric which is really good for your body.

Lol, us Americans have some strange lingo for sure.

1 in the hand is better than 2 in the Bush..

6 in one, half a dozen in the other...

You can have ur cake & eat it too..

Lol, I'm sure Aussies have their fair share as well

Btw, is a ( bakers dozen ) 13 over there as well ??

Yup, 13 to the dozen, we use a term here for cheap stuff, cheap as chips, lol.

This is a jar from last year.

I'm doing the rest of mine when wife gets home, she's picking up the white vinegar.

Ahh, I see it's a version of General Motors.

Pretty interesting reminds me of a Malibu a bit

And the Falcon looks like a Ford 500 and Fusion mix ?

Both pretty kool !

Left my fave out, from picture in my hallway of my car with my son and his groomsmen on his wedding day, about 8 years ago. A 66, red too. I'm a ford guy but the gm commodore is a wagon which suits my work better than a ford. It's a beautiful car to drive on trips, I'm pricing out a new one ATM. Although they say reds hard to get in a wagon.
