I'm out of apple juice and am wanting to put some St. Louies on early tomorrow morning - - what would Y'all recommend as a spritz other than apple juice :dont:

You could probably use pretty much any other fruit juice as well. While it adds some flavor, it’s mostly about the moisture.

thanks, Y'all, I had every intention of having them on the Pellet Pooper at 6am but do to some loose wires (NO not mine) I'm running about 45 minutes behind - - - wiggled the wire and eveything is rocking now BUT I can see some wiring checking in the near future - - - Since I have apple cidar vinegar and water and hot sauce - - - that may be my go-to this time :salut: :texas:

thanks, Fish, :salut: I ended up mixing some apple cider vinegar, beer and orange juice in my spritz bottle and it was adequate however, I'm picking up some apple juice next time at the store

I finally tried something different here, so I actually have something to add, LOL

I have a few BBQ books and one written by DivaQ said she likes using a mix of beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. I made up some broth using bullion cubes, added some W sauce, a little water and a little pepsi to add sweetness. Turned out amazing. I suspect it added a little to my last batch of ribs having a dark surface also.

I've read that some only use water, not really wanting to change the flavor outside of what they use for sauce/glaze afterwards.
