I was using KC Masterpiece until I tried Stubbs. Now, I use Stubbs but my wife still uses KC Masterpiece.

Haven't tried doctoring it up or trying to make my own. Let me learn to smoke first, then I will experiment with sauces.

Depending on how much time I have dictates what I do. I prefer to make my own, but sometimes I don't have the time and will tweak a store brand. Once in a great while I'll use it straight out of the bottle. I try to keep some of my homemade sauce bottled, but sometimes when I get busy I don't have time to make more and run out. :( That's when the other options come in to play :D

I make a tangy vinegar sauce that I use on PP. Other than that, I don't use any sauce.

There are so many great sauces on the market I don't bother trying to make my own.

I have my own vinegar/tomato sauce that I make. For folks that like sweet sauces I found a commercial sauce that I use (mostly for ribs).

gunna write here all thought is forum is old. BUT, have to admit all the seasoning and sauces I have made myself I do not measure when making them, just DO IT ! After reading all of you guys mixes and what not, guess I should start measuring instead of just mixing. Is that cheating by not measuring? My excuse is thats a real cooks way, but my friends and girlfriend disagree. WORKS FOR ME, hahahahaha
But I can not share what I do, if I cant tell you how much.

That's the way I do it...I don't like to dirty the measuring spoons and cups, cuz I am usually the one who puts the dishes away since I work at home.

I know i voted but didn't see my response....I purchase. Too many good ones to mess with on my own. I don't use ti much, but it's there on the side for anyone who wants it.

SBR as a base, then tweaked with berry type juice concentrate, grape jelly, maple syrup, hot sauce, cider vinegar, and some aromatics, and other spices.
