Re: Fiesta Brand Brisket Rub
i have used and still use on occassion. i must say that i took second in brisket in a Ibca cook here in Albuquerque with it.
and that was straight out the bottle. also i still use it when i get to hankering for the particular flavor profile it gives.
if nothing else, i feel that if it has piqued your curiosity this much, then why not give it a shot? of course i feel this way about most things. lol probably why Q'ers always come up with some strange recipes. hahaha

I've never used the brisket rub, but I do use their fajita seasoning. It's real good on chicken.

Most of their stuff has MSG, I shy away from it.

Don't know if it'll help, but I use many of the Bolner's Fiesta brand products, and they have all been pretty good (of course it's made right down the road from here). They make a terrific Fajita Seasoning - it gets used for a lot in my kitchen. Never used the Brisket Rub, tho.

Yep, they do make a great and cheap fajita seasoming. I have tried the brisket rub a while back and it is good for the money but I am using Sucklebusters products now.Good stuff.
How bout some more beans Mr.Taggert? I'd say you've had enough!

Thanks for all the replies. I noticed when I was looking at the ingredents that it did have MSG. Gonna have to give the Hoochie Mama a try.

Re: Fiesta Brand Brisket Rub
I have it on first hand knowledge that is the rub that the Crown Royal team in Houston used. I have not tried and really like a rub I get in Halletsville and the Hoochie Mama combo. I will try it sometime.

Re: Fiesta Brand Brisket Rub
Never tried the Brisket rub, I a big fan of GOSP (good old salt & pepper) with a little Mexican Oregano. Their bean seasoning Is killer and their season all is the base in my chicken rub. Great products for a very economical price.
Never met a cow I didn't like with a little salt and pepper.
