Yup and Market Street $1.97. Not sure if they have much inventory though

Market Street here isn’t having a sale unless they’re not advertising it. I’ll have to swing by and check it out.

Stopped by Kroger in Prosper this morning and they had 4 briskets in the cooler. Guy ahead of me took 2. This one was short and fat compared to my normal selection but I’m going to do it on my kettle so it will probably work out. Not a great brisket but it’ll do for sure.

I was in cash savers today and saw a brisket marked at 107.00. Then plus 10 percent at the register. They are stupid expensive in Mississippi

Smaller brisket usually indicates a younger calf/ cow which is a good thing

Briskets at Costco today were $5.29/lb. They were $3.29/lb when I was there a couple of weeks ago. They also had wagyu briskets for $5.99. I ended up getting a wagyu one since I've never had one before. Rest of the beef items I looked at seemed to be the normal prices with some of the prime steaks being a dollar or 2 cheaper than normal.

It took me 5 stops at 4 different Kroger’s before I found a store that had briskets. And they had plenty. Limit 2. Another friend picked up 2 and I’m cooking one for him in return for the other which seems like a fair trade.

I said they had plenty, went back about 6 hours later and there was only 2 in the case. They are now in my fridge. Working on a plan to present to my boss to raffle off a cooked brisket, thinking $5 a ticket, company matches dollar for dollar and 100% gets donated to the North Texas Food Bank.

I went to two in Denton yesterday. Cleaned out. I’ll hit a few more up today but not holding out hope as I can’t get out there early. What’s crazy is my local United has them for $4/lb. Never that expensive, especially Memorial weekend.

I finally found some in Arlington yesterday. They had 3 in the cooler, two were pretty good. One was 19+lbs, the other 17+ lbs. so, almost 40lbs of beef for little more than$60. Pretty good day!
