New pit

Postby Matt » Mon Aug 11, 2014 10:01 am

Got a new offset from JJ's pits last month and finally had time to do a brisket yesterday. Couldn't be happier with the results. Brisket could have been a little better quality but other than that it was a great first run. Wife knocked it out of the park with the sides too...

Thanks. Couldn't be happier with the pit, holds temp like a champ and I really like the adjustable flue from the firebox to the chamber.

Had mine shipped all the way out to California...went with the 20" x 30" with dual racks.
Cooks more meat then I need and I am always cooking for a crowd. (should of gone bigger)

Those are some good looking pits. One of these days I'll graduate to a sticker burner if I don't go to a vault.

Thanks, went ahead and got a 42" and glad I did. I'm adding a disc cooker to it this weekend!
