Talapia and Shrimp

Postby Swamp Donkeyz BBQ » Sat Sep 06, 2014 8:29 am

Cooked some talapia fillets, and shrimp, in the offset yesterday. I uses some EVOO and rib dust on the fish. Turned out really nice. I marinaded the shrimp in Tiger Sauce for about 45 minutes and then have them a coat of SPG. They turned out phenomenal! Chopped up some squash, mushrooms, onions and bell pepper, gave them a nice dose of SPG and threw them in the pit. After they tendered up, I covered them in Parmesan cheese and returned them to the smoker until the cheese was nice a and tan.

I've never had Talapia. Mild white fish?
