BBQ Camp

Expect that you probably paid a ton of money to listen to people talk to you about a subject you can ultimately learn for free.

that is the ultimate "brisket" camp in the country
everybody in bbq in Texas who is somebody has gone to it
and now they do celebrity presentations at it
that's why it's so hard to get into the class

Agreed not cheap, but I have also ruined some good meat before.

Why not take the chance to up my game?

We all have brother, we all have! I'm not discouraging you or anything. I play devil's advocate from time to time though :lol: There are many videos available on youtube by many of the experts that speak at those events. Particularly Aaron Franklin; He has a show on PBS that I DVR and watch when I get the chance to.

Welcome to the forum. Congrats on going! I've watched a in depth video of this class on YouTube. From what I can tell it looks like a good class. IMO- based on what I saw and have heard it doesn't necessarily prepare you for comps but gives you the basics. I think there is a lot of "what to do and what not to do" in the class. I think you'll enjoy it.
