I love meatloaf, my wife used to make it 30 years ago, hmmmm, I'm going to have a go at it as well. Nice cold in a sammich. Bit of tomato relish, yummo.

Cold meatloaf sandwiches are my favorite part of making meatloaf. Especially since I started smoking my meatloafs. I like heavy S&P and miracle whip on mine,

Re: Mini Meatloafs on the OldSmokey
darn, I love meatloaf but I never thought about smoking one! Those look tasty. I'm new to smoking but I'm starting to figure out that everything I love to eat/cook could be even better with a little smoke on it!

For those of you that don't form ones and use bacon as the container for them... How do you keep their shape in the smoker? Regular ceramic pan like you would an oven meatloaf or do you use something else that will allow smoke to penetrate better?

just shape up the loaf
but i always use a FrogMat under it
with a drip pan below the grill grate
since i started doing the mini loafs &or the stuffed poblano peppers
i'll never go back to the one whole loaf

This look outstanding Captain!
You can also use a disposable pan. Just have to drain some fat off at some point.
