Hoochie Momma or clucker duster for chicken wings?

Postby 88rxna » Tue Mar 28, 2017 7:53 am

Gonna smoke some wings this weekend. We like Frank's red hot.
Is hoochie momma hotter than Frank's?
Torn between the two . I guess the heat is what's gonna decide which one to order.
Thanks!
Rocket

**edit**
Suggestions on what wood to use also please!
Probably do an indirect heat with grill right above coals. Unless you guys have a better way.

r'Rocket, (never used Franks) BUT for me it's Hootchie Mama "hands down" - - -HOWEVER, my Wiffy don't like no hot no way Jose - - - - Sooooooo, I have her'n and my'n separate - - problem solved - - yes it's a PITA but the good nights sleep is worth it. :laughing7:

I also finish glaze mine with SB Chipotle Sauce and hers with Sweet Baby Rays - - matter of fact I'll be doing some in a day or so - - - - I'll show you mine if you'll show me yours :laughing7: :D

OH, one more thing DEFINITELY ORDER SOME HOOTCHIE MAMA even if you get CLUCKER DUST.

Clucker Dust is a must do base for wings, and build from there.

don't know your 10-20 but Gator and Co. usually get that stuff out and about ASAP - - - you should be good, if not, THEN next week will be :laughing7:

Hickory, pecan, oak would all be good.

Agreed, most any wood BUT I prefer Mesquite but that's just me
