Monday night
As everybody know Monday is the bad day of the week...and I thought to smoke some trouts to enjoy the Monday night
rubbed trouts with: chives, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, worchester sauce, curcuma and a lemon slice
putted a net to avoid the skins would attack to the grill. Started the kettle with charcoal and apple wood chips to smoke
and finally.. taste your Monday night

Looks good Tass, I've done similar things with fish but over here we add pads of butter and Cajun Seasoning - - - mats work great don't they ?

wow I'd like to try with the butter pads too...trout might be less fatty than salmon so the butter pad could be a nice choice
but I have a question about: the butter pad takes more smokey flavor?

I'm not real clear on what you're asking

Re: Monday night
Tass, IMHO grilled fish never gets very smoky flavored because it gets done so quickly. For me, the butter just keeps it moist and still allows a crust.

yes..It's a special net I bought last spring in a bbq shop that is perfect to avoid the sticking of the fish skin to the grill.... It can be used also for vegetables for example or for every food that is likely to stick to the grill
