Thanks Sailor and txsmkmstr
Hey Sailor...I used almost the same thing on my birds that you used. I did the mayo slather then a very generous coating of Clucker Dust and a little lighter coating of Texas Pecan rub. I've tried the mayo thing a couple of times. I can't say I notice any difference between using mayo or Olive oil which is what I normally use. I gave up on trying to get a crispy skin. As long as it's soft and not rubbery I'm happy :D

Your pics never disappoint bill. Great cook. Agree with loss of appetite on a big cook also. But with me its worry if the cook is good enough. No worries on your cook though.

As you were.

Thanks Russ.....believe me I did plenty of worrying.

Thanks Prof :D

Thanks TX......it musta came out pretty good. I had a couple come up to me and ask if I would do the same thing for thier wedding. I politely told them "NO". I explained that I only did it for close friends and I was not in the catering buissness and didn't want to be.
I enjoy doing it occasionally for friends free, once money exchanges hands I probably wouldn't enjoy it so much I'm thinking.

Same bill, I've been asked to do cooks for people I know. But I just keep it to family. And my comfort zone is 30 to 40 max. Your friends are very lucky to know you and have you as a friend.

Lol, same here, I've got friends I started age 5 at school I see all the time. When getting a new cell phone about 6 years ago the girl in the shop was changing my contacts to my new phone, she said you know over 300 people? I said I've been around a bit longer than you though. She said she only knew about 80 people. Lol
