Prime Ribs in the Rec Chef

Postby bondobill » Sun Jul 30, 2017 12:32 pm

Got some cow in the pellet poopers
I knew I wouldn't be able to get all 7 in my Rec Tec so the guy I'm doing the meat for brought over his Camp Chef pellet.
Was hoping to get 5 hunks in my pellet and 2 in the Camp Chef. "NOT".
These are all in between 16-18 lbs. Could only get 4 in my Rec Tec.
Panic set in. :dont:
Managed to squeeze 3 into the Camp Chef, unconventionally tho

Pictures later..... I hope

Out of the pellet poopers and wrapped. Going let them rest for a hour before I cooler them.
Pulled them out between 125 and 130. Temp has climbed to 136 in the one probed. Going transport in a cooler as soon as the core temp starts to drop. Only got a 5 minute drive..once there they'll come out of the cooler.
