I ended up having to trade the Traeger Timberline 1300 for the 850 with a full refunded difference. So of course yesterday I had to try it out. We did a chuck roast for pulled beef and a big rack of beef ribs. I've never done beef ribs before yesterday and I have to say unless I'm in a comp or practicing for a comp I'll be cooking beef ribs at my house from now on. The whole family loved them. I still plan on upgrading my stick burner but this pellet thing is pretty handy.
Yesterday's beef.

Very nice. I have never really done pulled beef, lots of pork, never beef. I just take to chopping it. I wonder why that never occurred to me. Tasty.

Great Plate, Bred, seems to be lots of Pellet Smoke in the air these day - - - they are an awful helpful tool for sure

We like doing it because it cook similar to a brisket and has lots of flavor. We use the pulled beef for almost anything just like with pulled pork. Chuck roasts aren't very expensive either.
Thanks everybody.

Great looking grub! I've always preferred beef over pork ribs myself but where I live now, it's hard to come across good ones to cook up; they are few and very far between..
